Children explore their Creativity

What We Do
Where Holidays Become Opportunities to Discover
At Dream Catchers Recreation Camps, we believe school holidays should be a time for children to relax, have fun and enjoy a different kind of learning. Our camps provide a safe, engaging and positive environment where children can explore new interests, develop new skills, make friends and discover talents they may never have known they had.
Our programs bring together a wide variety of experiences across Sports, Arts, Music, STEM, Science, Robotics, Performing Arts, Culinary Arts and other creative and recreational activities. From learning the basics of basketball, soccer or archery to building with robotics, experimenting with science, creating artwork, performing through theatre and preparing something in the kitchen, every day brings children something different to experience.
Learning Without the Pressure
No Exams. No Grades. No Academic Pressure. Just Explore, Experience & Discover.
Because some of the most valuable learning happens when children are having so much fun, they don’t even realize they’re learning.
One of the most important differences at Dream Catchers is that children are learning without the academic pressure of school. There are no exams, grades, homework or expectations that a child must master an activity.
Instead, children are encouraged to try, experiment, participate and enjoy the process. They can attempt a new sport without worrying about being the best player, explore STEM without worrying about getting every answer correct, or create a piece of art without being told there is only one right way to do it.
This freedom makes learning enjoyable and helps children develop curiosity, creativity, confidence, resilience and a willingness to try new things.
Five Days. Five Classes a Day. 25 Experiences.
A typical Dream Catchers week runs for five days, with five different classes and activities each day. This gives every child a broad and varied holiday experience rather than focusing on just one activity throughout the week.
All the Equipment and Materials required for activities are provided, allowing children to participate fully without parents having to purchase specialised equipment or supplies.
Meals are also included during the camp day, making the program a convenient and complete holiday experience for families.
But the benefits go well beyond the individual classes. Children interact with different instructors and other children, work in teams, solve problems, communicate, share, take responsibility and become more independent. These everyday experiences help build important social, emotional and life skills alongside the skills they develop through each activity.
More Than Just Keeping Children Busy
Dream Catchers isn’t simply about filling the school holidays with activities. It is about giving children meaningful experiences outside the traditional classroom.
A child may arrive having never held a tennis racket, programmed a robot, climbed a wall, performed on stage or prepared their own food. They may leave having discovered an interest that stays with them for years.
We want children to go home at the end of each camp day having played, created, explored, learned, laughed and accomplished something new.
